NPF was born out of need. This need led to heartfelt conversations. These conversations resulted in action.
We took a hard look at the state of "food systems" and we saw an obvious void. Farmers and urbanites rarely cross paths.
This void has created a need - a dual need:

For farmers to get their product to market

For segments of the market to be made aware of affordable organic produce, whole food, and produce grown with integrity.
Ohio is fortunate to have a large number of farmers. These farmers are often located in areas known as "food pockets".
NPF hopes to promote the farmers from these "food pockets" to the greater public, and share new markets and unseen customer
populations with the farmers.
As we build relationships, profit loses it's importance and the focus becomes PEOPLE. NPF is in the business of
building a better bottomline - a triple bottomline: better people, better planet, better profit.
Developing relationships and streamlining "markets of scale" result in fewer wasted resources and healthier and happier people. Our
belief in the relationship building process and shared resources is certain to succeed for the greater good of our community.
